The EW-14K feeds corrugated pipe from a horizontally-mounted coil tray rotating on a vertical axis — the correct orientation for large-diameter corrugated conduit that is coiled flat rather than wound on a bobbin. This vertical rotation geometry prevents the tube twisting and kinking that occurs when corrugated pipe is pulled from a coil mounted on a horizontal reel stand, maintaining consistent tube orientation and feed tension into the downstream cutting or punching machine.
● Automatic Brake Detection — Prevents Tube Overrun on Machine Stop
The feeding system uses automatic brake detection that disengages the drive and applies a brake when the downstream machine stops drawing tube. This prevents the tube from continuing to uncoil under the tray's rotational inertia — which would create slack loops between the feeder and the downstream machine that cause jamming when the process restarts. The matching release function re-engages feed automatically when the downstream machine resumes drawing.
● 30kg Maximum Load for Full Production-Scale Coil Formats
At 30kg maximum tray capacity with a tray diameter of 800mm and width of 300mm, the EW-14K accommodates the full-size coil formats in which automotive corrugated conduit is supplied in production quantities — typically 50–100 metres of standard automotive corrugated tube per coil at this tray size — without requiring the coil to be split into smaller sections before mounting.

Automotive body and engine harnesses use corrugated protective conduit as the primary wire bundle sleeving method. The EW-14K feeds this conduit from bulk production coils into corrugated tube cutting machines, corrugated tube punching and cutting machines, or corrugated tube insertion machines — replacing manual coil handling that causes tube kinking, operator fatigue, and inconsistent feed tension on high-cycle production lines.
● Industrial wiring loom conduit production
Industrial control cabinet loom wiring and cable management systems use corrugated conduit for cable bundle protection. The EW-14K's 30kg capacity handles the larger-diameter corrugated conduit (20–40mm OD) used in industrial wiring applications, where coil weights typically exceed the capacity of standard wire prefeeding stands.
● Corrugated tube punching and cutting line integration
Corrugated tube cutting and punching machines (such as the EW-1340) require consistent tension-free tube supply to maintain cut length accuracy. The EW-14K's brake detection prevents the tube slack accumulation between feeder and cutting machine that causes feed-length variation and cut position errors on pneumatic corrugated tube cutting lines.
