Feature
● Fully Automatic Double-End Cut, Strip & Crimp Cycle
The EW-8105 completes wire cutting, stripping, and terminal crimping on both wire ends simultaneously in one automated cycle — covering AWG30 to AWG18 wire at up to 3,800 pieces per hour. This double-end capability eliminates the separate single-end crimping pass (and the wire repositioning between passes) required on single-head crimping machines, halving the per-wire processing time on harness sub-assemblies that terminate at both ends.
● Universal and Mini-Style Applicator Compatibility
The electronically controlled bench-top unit accepts most universal and mini-style applicators for both side-feed and rear-feed open-barrel terminals, at 30mm or 40mm stroke. This broad applicator compatibility allows the EW-8105 to process terminal families from major connector manufacturers without custom tooling — using applicators already in service on existing production lines.
● Program File Storage for Fast Changeover
Cut length, strip length, crimp force setting, and applicator configuration are all saved to a numbered program file, recalled instantly for repeat production jobs without manual recalibration. This is particularly valuable on mixed-production harness lines switching between multiple wire and terminal combinations across a single shift.
● Built-In Detection for Wire Run-Out, Low Air Pressure & Crimp Errors
The machine continuously monitors three critical production conditions: wire run-out (stopping before an incomplete batch is produced), low air pressure (preventing under-force crimps when the compressed air supply drops below the 0.4–0.6MPa operating range), and terminal/crimp errors (flagging out-of-tolerance cycles). An optional crimping force monitor (CFM) adds per-cycle force-curve documentation for customers requiring IATF 16949-level quality traceability.
Application Range
Automotive sensor and signal wire harness sub-assembly
Fine-gauge AWG30–AWG24 sensor and signal wires terminating at both ends into connector housings are the primary application for the standard EW-8105. The double-end crimping cycle and 3,800 pcs/h throughput match the high-volume requirements of automotive Tier 1 sensor harness sub-assembly, where both wire ends typically terminate into different connector families on the same harness.
Electronics and ICT internal wiring
Wire-to-connector cable assemblies in computers, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics use AWG28–AWG22 wire with universal-style applicators compatible with JST, Molex, and similar connector terminal families. The EW-8105's applicator flexibility allows it to switch between these terminal types without dedicated tooling investment per connector family.
Industrial control panel and automation wiring
Medium-gauge AWG24–AWG18 control and signal wiring in PLC cabinets and automation panels benefits from the EW-8105's program file storage, allowing operators to recall pre-configured settings for each wire/terminal combination used across a panel build without re-entering parameters.
Heavier-gauge power and control wire applications (EW-8105-1)
The EW-8105-1 variant's AWG14–AWG24 range and 5.5mm OD capacity extend coverage to power feed wiring and heavier control cables in appliance, industrial equipment, and automotive body harness applications — where wire diameters exceed the standard EW-8105's practical operating range.
