Feature
● Integrated Cut, Strip, Double-Head Crimp & Number Tube Insertion
The EW-8155 completes cutting, stripping, terminal crimping on both wire ends, and number tube insertion in one automated cycle — replacing four separate manual workstations on a conventional control panel wiring line. At 700–900 pcs/h, it processes a typical panel wiring batch that would take a skilled operator several hours in under one shift.
● Four-Wheel Synchronous Wire Feeder for Constant Tension
The built-in four-wheel synchronous feed system maintains constant wire tension throughout the feed cycle, preventing the wire deformation and feed-length errors that single-roller systems produce on soft or fine-gauge cables (AWG22–AWG18). An automatic terminal tape cutting device is integrated to eliminate manual tape advance between crimping cycles.
● Cross-Feed and Direct-Feed OTP Tooling Compatibility
The machine accepts both cross-feed and direct-feed OTP terminal applicator moulds, covering the two main applicator families used by major connector manufacturers. Stroke is selectable between 30mm and 40mm at the applicator level, so changing terminal series requires only an applicator swap — no machine reconfiguration.
● Optional CCD Visual Inspection & Crimping Force Monitor
An optional CCD camera inspection module verifies terminal position and number tube insertion correctness on every cycle, outputting a pass/fail signal before the wire is discharged. An optional crimping force monitor (CFM) logs the force-displacement profile of each crimp for production traceability — both options address the quality documentation requirements of automotive Tier 1 and industrial automation customers.
Application Range
● Industrial control panel & switchgear wiring
Control panel wiring requires every wire to carry an identification number for circuit tracing and maintenance. The EW-8155's integrated number tube insertion eliminates the manual pre-threading step that typically consumes 30–40% of per-wire assembly time, directly reducing panel build labour cost.
● Automotive wire harness sub-assembly
Body control and engine management harnesses that incorporate individually numbered wire ends for connector identification use the EW-8155's double-head crimping capability to terminate both ends simultaneously, halving the crimping cycle time versus single-head machines on the same wire count.
● Industrial automation & PLC cabinet manufacturing
PLC and servo drive cabinets require dense, numbered wire terminations across multiple terminal blocks. The machine's AWG22–AWG14 range covers the signal and power wiring gauges used in the majority of industrial automation cabinet designs.
● Railway & transportation control systems
Trackside control equipment and rolling stock electrical panels use individually numbered wires as a mandatory maintenance traceability requirement. The optional CFM and CCD inspection modules provide the per-crimp quality records required by railway electrical equipment certification standards.
