The EW-1250 cuts heat shrink tubing, silicone and rubber hose, wire, braided wire, paper, PVC film, and vinyl strip from a single machine setup — switching between material types requires only adjusting the feeding width guide, with no blade or tooling change. This universal material compatibility is the primary reason it is deployed across wire harness heat shrink pre-cut, hydraulic hose preparation, and electronics film cutting lines as a single shared resource.
● 0.1mm Cutting Accuracy with Reinforced Vibration-Free Body
Cutting length accuracy is maintained at 0.1mm across the full 1–99,999mm programmable range through encoder-based length measurement and a reinforced metal body that eliminates the structural vibration that causes length error accumulation on lighter-frame cutting machines during high-cycle production. This accuracy level is consistent whether cutting 1mm short sections of heat shrink or 500mm hose lengths in the same production run.
● 6,000 pcs/h with Adjustable Feed Width
At 6,000 pieces per hour (L=100mm), the EW-1250 replaces manual cutting operations that typically produce 300–600 pieces per operator-hour at inconsistent accuracy. The feeding width is adjustable to match material cross-section, accommodating round tube (up to 14mm OD), flat strip (up to 100mm wide), and irregular-section materials within the same machine without mechanical modification.
Application Range
● Wire harness heat shrink tube pre-cutting
Heat shrink tubing used in wire harness assembly is supplied in bulk reels and must be pre-cut to specific lengths before application to wire ends or splice joints. The EW-1250 processes standard 2:1 and 3:1 shrink ratio tubing in the 1–14mm OD range at 6,000 pcs/h, replacing the manual pre-cut station that is the primary bottleneck in heat shrink preparation on wire harness assembly lines.
● Silicone and rubber hose preparation
Medical tubing, hydraulic hose sleeve, pneumatic fitting tube, and automotive rubber hose are cut to assembly lengths for fluid system and component production. The 0.1mm accuracy ensures consistent hose end dimensions for press-fit and barbed connector assemblies where hose cut length directly affects joint pull-out strength.
● Film, vinyl, and paper label strip cutting
Self-adhesive film, protective vinyl strip, and paper label stock used in packaging and electronics assembly are cut to batch lengths. The 100mm maximum width covers the majority of standard roll film and strip material widths used in these applications.
● Electronics and ICT production support
Component protection tubing, cable tie strip, and foam tape sections used in electronics assembly are cut to lengths matching PCB dimensions and cable bundle diameters. The EW-1250's programmable batch count and automatic cycle completion allow unattended pre-cut production runs during off-shift hours.
